Social Media Training & Workshops

Practical, tailored training that gives people something they can actually use. Whether that's a marketing team getting sharper on strategy, or a leadership group learning to use LinkedIn properly — sessions are shaped around what your people need, not a generic slide deck.

An experienced trainer

As well as delivering training to organisations, I lecture regularly in marketing, advertising and PR at City of Glasgow College. That means I'm used to the room, comfortable with different learning styles, and focused on making sessions genuinely useful rather than just informative.

What I cover

Training typically focuses on one or more of these areas:

  • LinkedIn — company pages, personal profiles, employee advocacy, lead generation

  • Working with senior leaders and executives on their LinkedIn presence

  • Broader social media strategy and planning

  • Channel-specific best practice — LinkedIn, YouTube and others

  • Content ideas, formats and what's actually working right now

  • Measurement, reporting and understanding performance

Sessions can be tailored around your organisation's specific needs — including building a course from scratch where an off-the-shelf approach won't cut it. I can help develop the content too.

Who this is for

I work with marketing teams, communications departments, mixed organisational groups and senior leadership. If your sales team needs to understand how to use LinkedIn to generate leads, that's a session I can deliver too.

Sessions are shaped around the people in the room — their level, their goals and what you're trying to change as a result.

How sessions work

Most sessions run as a half day or full day, delivered in person. Virtual delivery is available where needed. One-off sessions are the most common format, though a series can be arranged where deeper or ongoing development is needed.
